Asphalt Green’s 10-and-under and 11-and-under travel basketball teams are champions of their divisions in the 55 Swish Basketball League, marking the second straight championship for the 11-and-under squad, which was undefeated at 11-0 this year. Newcomer Jack Kolz, pictured, brought needed aggression and rebounding late in the game, which helped Asphalt Green pull away to an 11-point victory. Sage Mateo, who averaged 10 points during the season, also contributed.

The 10-and-under team won its first championship as Jack Nelson hit an off-balance runner at the buzzer to give Asphalt Green a one-point win. Nicholas Mautone averaged 15 points in the playoffs.
