MALONEY AND VETERANS

In your recent story, “West Side Endorsements for Maloney,” the reporter, Michael Oreskes, failed to mention one of her outstanding accomplishments, saving the Manhattan V.A. Hospital from developers. Her support was crucial and her continuing support for veterans is an important part of her service and legacy.

It must also be noted that in the story Mr. Oreskes writes,

“In next year’s primary she faces a renewed challenge from Rana Abdelhamid, 28, whose critiques of the incumbent include that Maloney has been in Congress longer than she has been alive.”

Serving prior to birth, pure genius! What better endorsement could there be.
