Blood Money In Bullytown

In 1991, Noam Freedman asked the FDNY if they were marketing their logo. When he learned they weren't, he took it upon himself, and opened two shops in Lower Manhattan specializing in FDNY and NYPD merchandise. Problem was, nobody cared (including the City), and he struggled for a decade.

Then the towers came down, and customers lined up around the block. Bloomberg smelled blood, and did what any good businessman would do-he stole Freedman's idea. The city trademarked all those logos and marketed them internationally, while condemning the Ground Zero vendors. Funnier still, the City is now suing Freedman, charging him with trademark infringement.

If Bloomberg is such a pal to small businessmen, why does he keep trying to destroy them?
