New Hunter Medical Lab

Hunter College’s new 21,000-square-foot laboratory and research space on the 4th floor of Weill Cornell Medical College’s Belfer Research Building opened on 69th Street between First and York avenues. Under the partnership, Hunter purchased the 4th floor of the new Belfer Research Building to collaborate with WCMC on cutting-edge research and training the next generation of scientists. The building is devoted to research targeting cancer, cardiovascular disease, children’s health, neurodegenerative diseases such as Parkinson’s and Alzheimer’s, and global health and infectious diseases.
