scholarship for cathedral senior Scrapbook

Mary Zhou Ke, graduating senior at Cathedral High School, was recently named a QuestBridge Scholar to receive a full scholarship to the University of Pennsylvania. QuestBridge students are exceptional individuals who have achieved academic excellence in spite of socioeconomic obstacles. Ke is class president, current valedictorian, as well as a passionate tuba player in the Cathedral marching band. She also has won a number of other awards, including induction into the National Honor Society in the Spring 2014; grand prize winner at N.Y.C. Brain Bee, the annual high school competition in neuroscience; and this year’s recipient of the New York Chapter of the New York State Society of Professional Engineering Scholar Award Scholarship. Cathedral High School, an all-female Catholic College Preparatory school since 1905, is located on E. 56th Street.
