South Street Seaport Museum
Take a walking tour exploring the history of the Civil War Draft Riots (June 11), listen to a top-notch button accordionist (June 13) or sail aboard The Pioneer on the longest day of the year (June 21). Then again, if you don't feel like doing anything at all, just walk around the shops, galleries and eateries, gazing at the water, enjoying your un-productivity-at least you're outside.

The Arsenal Gallery
Grab the leash and your best friend and head to Central Park for the Parks & Recreation-sponsored photo exhibition, Unleashed: The Dog Runs of New York City, accompanied by the artist, Frances Sheridan's collective Dog Run Diary. Four-legged friends are invited to the opening reception on June 1 from 5:30-7:30. Cap the show off by heading to the big park again on June 3 for the ASPCA Central Park Dog Walk at 9:30am at the East Meadow (99th St. & Fifth Ave). The half-mile walk will be followed by a celebration featuring pet agility performances.

Native American Powwow

Sunset Eco-Cruises
NYC Audubon re-launches its weekly sunset cruises to Harbor Heron Islands aboard New York Water Taxi, the city's only fleet of eco-friendly water transportation. Get an earful from NYC Audubon naturalists while sipping wine and soda and staring at 3,000 birds-herons, egrets, cormorants-on the rarely seen islands of North and South Brother in the Long Island Sound and Mill Rock Island in the East River.

Hans Christian Andersen Storytelling
Listen in to the city's 50-year tradition, storytelling at the statue of Hans Christian Andersen in Central Park. Storytellers from the L.E.S. to Montreal stop by to entertain lil' and big ones with their tall tales of wizards, witches and even some wegular people.
