Public Lewdness on F Train Subway; Harlem Man Stabbed in Chest

A 24-year-old female victim was sitting onboard a northbound F train approaching the Lexington Avenue 53rd Street subway station when an unidentified individual stood in front of her and began performing a lewd act, believed to be masturbation, at about 8:40 p.m. on May 20.

The New York City Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the individual wanted in connection with the public lewdness incident that occurred on the subway within the confines of the 17th Precinct / Transit District 4.

The individual then exited the train at the Court Square subway station in Long Island City and fled on foot to parts unknown. The victim remained on the train.

The sought individual is described as a male with a medium complexion and braided hair. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt, green shorts, and black sneakers.

Harlem Man Stabbed in Chest, Survives

A 55-year-old Harlem man survivied after he was approached by an unidentified individual who stabbed the victim multiple times in the chest on May 18 at approximately 12:08 a.m.

Cops are also asking for the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect for the incident that happened 2630 8th Avenue at West 140th St. within the confines of the 32nd Precinct.

The unidentified individual fled on foot to parts unknown. EMS responded and transported the victim to NYC Health Hospitals/Harlem in critical but stable condition.

Although the 32nd Precinct station house at 250 W. 135th St., is often considered Central Harlem, the below the glacial ridge upon Jackie Robinson Park rises, the precinct encompasses all of East Harlem north of 127th Street to the Polo Grounds NYCHA projects.
