That Joke Isn't Funny Anymore

At this very moment, somewhere in your apartment building, there is a balding white guy, with long hair and an exposed beer belly stretching out his Fruit of the Looms, doing a freeform dance and singing too loud to Prince's The Hits 1-pausing only occasionally, during instrumental breaks, in order to dry hump nearby pieces of furniture. In fact, it's probably safe to say that there is just such a man inside of us all.

For occasional Sean Na Na frontman Sean Tillman, the burning discharge of Har Mar was too much to ignore-so he dressed it up in a tasseled, sleeveless white jumpsuit, rolled it up in a big ole ball of irony and then stuck it out on stage for the world to see. To date, Har Mar Superstar has released three LPs of alternately hilarious and vomit-inducing tracks, written songs for Kelly Osbourne, toured with the likes of The Strokes and produced a series of commercials for men's body spray currently airing on British MTV.

Tillman will be cutting Har Mar loose at Northsix, before repressing his prurient urges for a while in order to focus on his Sean Na Na project with a string of dates spent opening for the aforementioned band of officially loathsome New Yorkers.
