    THE NY TIMES' MEDIA THREAT

This is, hands down, one of the most interesting pieces I've ever seen in New York Press ("How The Times Sells Genocide," April 12-18). Just when we thought you all were passed out drunk or something, you wake up to give us a little slice of hell. So, I put on my Knipfel-esque hat and got out the goddamned magnifying glass to see what the fuck was the matter. It's freaking pitiful. Half the women can't read. They have a bicameral legislature appointed by the Prime Minister who is in power via fraudulent elections, and before that a coup. Goddamn, that sounds familiar.

    SHE'S GOTTA HAVE IT: RELOADED

This woman is typical of so many white women today ("A White Woman Explains Why She Prefers Black Men," December 7-13, 2005). Biased, self?centered excuse for a real, loving, caring woman. Sex has become her master and lust now controls her brain. Men are men whether they are black or white. It's your attitude that determines how you view a person, or a race. A bad experience with one race or the other does not mean that entire race should be faulted.

Little minds think little thoughts, and I am afraid this person suffers from that problem. Sex is 60 percent a mind experience and that is where this person has a problem-her mind. It seems women and men today are charting a course for different destinations. Women want men to be more robust and at the same time want them to be more feminized. Men want women to be sexual, and at the same time they still want them to be this innocent little girl. It seems neither knows what they want. I guess that's why we have a 50 percent divorce rate.

    MORE METS MEMORIES

Murphy announced Mets games for more than 40 years, not the 31 you cite in your article ("I Heart the Mets," April 5-11).

Great article! It brought me back through a lot of my growing up memories as well. Thanks. Nik

    WHEN GOSSIP MONGERS ATTACK

I don't remember this Koy fish ("J.P. Stern's Press Days," April 12-18). I never knew him and he obviously doesn't know me, but he is one bitter son of a bitch. I guess he hates everyone who's moved on from the New York Press. Me and Drinky Crow are gonna come kick his ass.
