Who's Sleazy Now, News?

For the past few weeks, we've been hearing about what a scumbag James Colliton allegedly is.

The lawyer, who had a wife, five kids, and a $500,000-a-year practice, is accused of keeping a "harem" of underage "sex playthings" on call in Manhattan, including two underage sisters who'd apparently been pimped out by their own mother. He was so skeevy, in fact, that he even pressured the girls to have his name tattooed on their asses. The message everywhere you read about him would seem to point to Colliton being a loathsome, disgusting lowlife creep. That's why last Monday's Daily News surprised us. In the middle of an interview with a distraught, tearful young woman who claimed she'd first been victimized by Colliton when she was 15, the following paragraph appears: "The woman said Colliton paid $1,700 a month for an apartment on E. 48th St. for the 5-foot-3 beauty, who has a model's high-forehead and perfectly arched brows."

The same story also referred to her as a "petite blonde." We were waiting to read that she "ran her tongue slowly across her full and luscious lips" or that she "shifted in her chair as her ample breasts strained against the thin, diaphanous fabric of her blouse."

Hey, here's an idea-maybe the next time some more of these hot young victims comes forward, the News can run their measurements, too-or at least a picture of them in a bikini. In for a penny, in for a pound.
